Find the Vanity
That Fits Your Room
Four ranges, five Farrow & Ball colours, seven oak stains. These schemes show how a Mockridge vanity sits in a finished room, from Georgian townhouse to coastal calm to country heirloom, so you can picture yours before you choose.
Period Elegance
Georgian Character, Modern Craft
Traditional bathroom schemes with lime-washed walls, panel moulding, geometric floor tiles, and warm brass hardware. The Clifton and Chester ranges feel at home in period properties, townhouses, and any space where architectural detail matters.
Scheme One
The Chester in Brinjal
Deep plum against lime-washed walls with traditional panel moulding. Octagonal black and white floor tiles. Round brass mirror with matching wall sconces. Wall-mounted brass taps. The cock bead detail on The Chester drawer fronts echoes the period moulding on the walls, tying old and new together.
Scheme Two
The Clifton in Railings
Deep charcoal navy against warm limestone and natural stone. The vertical fluting catches directional light and creates shadow lines that shift throughout the day. Brushed brass taps and edge-pull handles add warmth without competing with the fluting detail. Tapered legs keep the base open and airy.
Contemporary Minimalism
Clean Lines, Quiet Texture
Pared-back schemes with micro cement walls, polished concrete floors, frameless mirrors, and wall-mounted brassware. The Reeded range is designed for spaces where less is more, but texture still matters.
Scheme Three
The Reeded in Studio Green
Wall-hung with no legs and no handles, The Reeded floats off the floor to open up the space beneath. Micro cement walls and polished concrete floor create a seamless, minimal backdrop. The vertical reeding adds rhythm and texture without breaking the clean lines. Brass wall-mounted taps provide the only metallic accent.
Coastal Calm
Soft Blue,
Pale Marble, Sunlight
Light, airy bathroom schemes inspired by the British coast without the cliche. Pale Carrara marble, sea-glass blue cabinetry, satin nickel hardware, and warm natural light. Suited to coastal homes, garden flats, and rooms where you want quiet rather than drama.
Scheme Four
The Clifton in Stiffkey Blue
Stiffkey Blue is a deep, considered blue that reads almost grey in low light and indigo in bright sun. Paired with pale Carrara marble worktops and satin nickel taps, the scheme feels coastal without being beachy. White-painted tongue-and-groove panelling above a tiled dado. Natural linen window blinds. The fluting catches the morning light beautifully.
Warm Minimal
Tonal, Quiet,
Almost Plaster
Restrained schemes built on warm neutrals and natural texture. Lime-washed walls, travertine floors, unlacquered brass that patinas with age. Elephants Breath is the anchor colour, and the result is a bathroom that ages gracefully and reads as expensive without trying.
Scheme Five
The Chester in Elephants Breath
A warm mushroom-grey vanity against lime-washed plaster walls. Travertine floor tiles laid in a herringbone pattern. Unlacquered brass taps and ring pulls, intentionally left to patina. A simple oval mirror with a thin brass frame above. The whole scheme reads as one tonal moment rather than a series of decisions.
Heirloom Country
The Kingsbridge,
Built for Generations
Real oak from frame to drawer box. Hand-cut scalloped aprons, ornate bracket feet, and the kind of joinery you pass on. The Kingsbridge is our heirloom range, designed for principal bathrooms in country houses and farmhouses where the room itself is the story.
Scheme Six
The Kingsbridge in Dark Roast Oak
A 1900mm real oak double vanity, hand-stained in Dark Roast, anchoring a Cotswolds farmhouse bathroom. Cream lime-washed walls, exposed timber beams overhead, and a flagstone floor underfoot. Pair with a Calacatta Gold quartz worktop and a hand-cut scalloped upstand for the full heirloom presentation. Aged brass cup pulls, traditional bridge mixer taps, and a pair of round wall-mounted brass lamps either side of a thin-framed antiqued mirror.
Oak Across the Range
Seven Stains,
Endless Warmth
Three of our ranges are available in real oak, hand-stained in your choice of seven natural tones from White through to Chocolate. The same craftsmanship, a softer, more elemental aesthetic. Below, oak applied to The Clifton and The Reeded.
Scheme Seven
The Clifton in Natural Oak
Real European oak in its lightest hand-stained tone, the grain reading clean and pale against soft white walls. The vertical fluting still catches light, but now with the warmth of wood rather than the depth of paint. Pure White quartz worktop, brushed brass taps, and a brass-framed circular mirror. The scheme feels Scandi-influenced without being austere.
Scheme Eight
The Reeded in Dark Roast Oak
The wall-hung Reeded, this time in real oak hand-stained to Dark Roast. The deep chocolate-brown tone catches the vertical reeding and creates a quieter, more grounded version of the contemporary aesthetic. Pairs beautifully with cream micro cement walls, dark grey concrete floors, and a Calacatta Gold quartz worktop. Unlacquered brass wall taps tie it together.

Pairing Guide
What Works Together
A starting point for designing the rest of the bathroom around your chosen vanity.
Wall Tiles
Calacatta marble with grey veining pairs with all five painted colours. Zellige in cream or blush for warmer schemes. Large-format porcelain in warm grey keeps focus on the vanity. Lime-washed plaster works beautifully with The Chester, Clifton, and Kingsbridge.
Floor Tiles
Octagonal black-and-white for period schemes. Limestone or travertine for warmth. Polished concrete or micro cement for contemporary spaces. Herringbone oak for Scandi-influenced rooms. Flagstone for country-house Kingsbridge installations.
Brassware
Brushed brass is our most-paired finish across every range. Satin nickel works beautifully with Elephants Breath and Stiffkey Blue. Matte black adds contrast against lighter colours. Wall-mounted taps give the cleanest look, especially with The Reeded. Unlacquered brass for tonal schemes that age gracefully.
Mirrors
Round mirrors with thin brass or black frames suit The Chester, Clifton, and Kingsbridge. Frameless rectangular mirrors complement The Reeded's minimal aesthetic. Backlit mirrors add ambient light and work well in smaller bathrooms where wall sconces aren't practical.
Lighting
Wall sconces either side of the mirror for even, flattering light. Glass cylinder shades with brass fittings for period schemes. Recessed downlights for minimal setups. Warm white (2700K to 3000K) brings out the depth in darker Farrow & Ball colours and oak stains.
Accessories
Keep it restrained. A towel ring in matching brass or nickel. One or two Aesop bottles on the worktop. A single stem in a ceramic vase. The vanity is the centrepiece. Let everything else support it, not compete.
