Named After Clifton, Bristol
Where Fluting Began
Clifton's Georgian terraces have stood above the Avon Gorge since the 1790s. The vertical fluting carved into their limestone columns was designed to catch the light as it moved across the valley throughout the day. Two centuries later, in our workshop less than three miles from those same terraces, we precision-cut the same vertical fluting into our drawer fronts. The Clifton is our tribute to the neighbourhood that shaped our craft.
Available painted in five Farrow & Ball colours or hand-stained in seven oak tones. Same fluting, same workshop, two surface stories.
Precision-Cut Fluting
Each flute is CNC-routed into the drawer front to a tolerance of 0.5mm, then hand-sanded to remove any machine marks. The depth and spacing are calibrated to create a shadow line that shifts as the light changes throughout the day.
Painted or Oak Finish
Hand-sprayed in Farrow & Ball: two primer coats and two top coats, hand-sanded between each, in your choice of Railings, Brinjal, Studio Green, Stiffkey Blue, or Elephants Breath. Or hand-stained in real European oak: White, Natural, Smoke, Macchiato, Espresso, Dark Roast, or Chocolate.
Built to Last
Moisture-resistant materials in a waterproof finish, fitted on lifetime-guaranteed Blum soft-close runners as standard. Upgrade to hand-cut dovetailed solid oak drawer boxes for those who want the craftsmanship visible inside and out.
Beyond the Standard Range
Bespoke or Heirloom?
Standard Cliftons run from 600mm to 1600mm. If your space needs a different size, custom colour, or non-standard configuration, we'll build it. Looking for real oak throughout, drawer boxes included? See The Kingsbridge.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Clifton is available in six standard widths: 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm as single basin vanities, and 1200mm, 1400mm, and 1600mm as double basin vanities. All sizes are floor-standing with the option of a sit-on or undermount basin. If you need a non-standard width for your space, bespoke sizing is available. Yes. Every Clifton size is offered as either painted or real European oak. Painted Cliftons are hand-sprayed in your choice of five Farrow & Ball colours. Oak Cliftons are hand-stained in your choice of seven natural tones, from White through to Chocolate. The fluting, joinery, runners, and build are identical across both materials. Only the surface story changes.
Five Farrow & Ball colours: Railings (deep charcoal navy), Brinjal (rich aubergine), Studio Green (forest green), Stiffkey Blue (deep moody blue), and Elephants Breath (warm dusty mushroom). Each unit receives two primer coats and two top coats, hand-sanded between each, applied in our temperature-controlled spray booth. If you'd like a colour outside these five, including any other Farrow & Ball shade, Little Greene, or Dulux Heritage, get in touch and we'll quote for a bespoke finish.
A sit-on basin rests on top of the quartz worktop, creating a raised bowl that becomes a visual feature of the vanity. An undermount basin is fitted beneath the worktop for a flush, seamless surface that is easier to clean and gives a more minimal appearance. Both options are available across all Clifton sizes and finishes.
Every Clifton is made to order in our Bristol workshop with a standard lead time of 4 to 6 weeks from the date of your order. Delivery is nationwide on a flat £95 rate to mainland UK, with two-person handling to the ground floor as standard. Every unit arrives fully assembled. We'll send build-window updates throughout the 4 to 6 weeks so you know when to expect us.
The Clifton is available with four options: Pure White, Carrara Cashmere, Calacatta Gold, or no quartz (for customers sourcing their own stone or timber top). Worktops are pre-cut to the exact dimensions of your unit, basin cutout pre-formed, polished, and dispatched separately ready to install on site. All quartz options are heat-resistant, scratch-resistant, and non-porous. Bespoke marble worktops are available on request for those wanting a natural stone alternative.
The Clifton starts from £1,790 for the 600mm painted single vanity. Pricing scales with size and material, with the 1600mm oak double vanity at the upper end of the standard range. Quartz worktops and dovetailed oak drawer upgrades are priced as add-ons through the product page. All prices include VAT and standard delivery to mainland UK.

Yes. Every Clifton vanity is designed, built, finished, and assembled in our Bristol workshop. The range is named after Clifton, the historic Georgian neighbourhood less than three miles from our workshop, whose iconic fluted limestone columns inspired the design. We use cabinet-grade moisture-resistant materials for the painted ranges and real European oak for the oak ranges, sourced from sustainable UK and European suppliers. Nothing is imported or assembled overseas.
