Double vs Single Basin
Choose double if
Two people share the bathroom regularly at the same time, you have at least 1200mm of usable width, or this is a master ensuite where the configuration adds resale value. Common in luxury bathroom design for good reason.
Consider single if
Only one person uses the space at any given time, you have less than 1200mm to work with, or you'd rather have generous worktop space than a second basin. Single basins also work well in ensuites where storage matters more than a second user.
