Yes. Every Chester vanity unit comes fitted with Blum soft-close drawer runners as standard, backed by a lifetime guarantee. For those who want the craftsmanship visible inside the drawer, an upgrade to hand-cut dovetailed solid oak drawer boxes is available.

Yes. All Chester units are delivered fully assembled and ready to install. Quartz worktops and upstands are dispatched separately, pre-cut and polished. For units over 1400mm, or where access is restricted, we may partially disassemble for delivery, with all fixings and instructions included for quick reassembly on site.

The Chester is built with solid tulipwood legs and cabinet-grade moisture-resistant cores throughout the frame. Tulipwood is a stable, paintable hardwood that holds the cock bead detail beautifully and won't move in bathroom humidity. The moisture-resistant cores are engineered to handle the wet, warm environments that bathrooms create over time. All visible surfaces are spray-finished with two coats of primer and two top coats of premium paint.

A cock bead is a fine raised moulding that runs around the perimeter of each drawer front. It originates from 18th-century English cabinetmaking where it served both a decorative and practical purpose. On The Chester, the cock bead frames each flat drawer panel, creating a subtle border that catches the light and adds depth without overpowering the design.

The Clifton features vertical fluted drawer fronts with tapered legs for a more contemporary aesthetic. The Chester has flat drawer fronts with refined cock bead moulding borders, chunky shaker end panels, and sturdy square legs for a more traditional, grounded look. Both ranges share the same construction quality, colour options, worktop and upstand choices, bespoke sizing and drawer upgrades.

Yes. Both our sit-on and undermount basin options work with deck-mounted or wall-mounted taps. The only thing we need to know is which you've chosen, so we can position your basin correctly during manufacture. Add a note to your order, "deck-mounted taps" or "wall-mounted taps", when placing it, or message us straight after. We'll confirm before cutting begins.

We offer five curated Farrow & Ball colours as standard: Railings, Brinjal, Studio Green, Stiffkey Blue, and Elephants Breath. Want something else? Choose the bespoke swatch on the product page, enter your Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or RAL reference, and we colour-match it for £95, sprayed to the same finish as our standard colours.

The Chester comes in seven standard widths: 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm as a single basin, and 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, and 1800mm as a double, all with sit-on or undermount basins. If none of those fit, select Bespoke on the size row and set any width in 10mm steps. It is priced as the next standard size up, and the slider moves you between single and double automatically. Standard depth is 500mm for sit-on and 550mm for undermount; if you need a shallower unit, note it in the requests box and the workshop will check basin and tap fit with you before building.

The Chester is available with nine worktop finishes: Pure White, Carrara Cashmere, Carrara Misterio, Calacatta Gold, Calacatta Oro, Calacatta Vincente, Arabescato Vagli, Misterio Gold and Viola, a dark burgundy-veined stone. Tap a swatch on the product page to preview each one and see its price. Worktops are 20mm, pre-cut to the exact dimensions of your unit, basin cutout pre-formed, polished, and dispatched separately ready to install. Bespoke marble is available on request, and you can also order without a worktop if you are sourcing your own surface.

Yes. Once you have chosen a worktop, tick the upstand option beneath it. Upstands are cut from the same slab as your worktop, 100mm high as standard, and dispatched with it. They cost £150 for a single unit or £250 for a double with straight corners, with scalloped corners at £50 extra and curved corners at £100 extra. If you want a different height or a bevelled edge, note it in the box provided and we make it to your request at no extra cost.

Every Chester is made to order in our Bristol workshop and you choose your build slot at checkout. Delivery is included in the slot price, so the longer you can wait, the less you pay. No Rush is 8 to 10 weeks with free delivery. Standard is 6 to 8 weeks with £95 delivery. Fast Track, when slots are available, is 3 to 5 weeks at £245 delivered (£150 for the earlier slot plus £95 delivery). Units arrive fully assembled by a two-person team, ready to install.
